What is SEO & SEA?
Search engine optimization is the best way to attract more visitors to a website. This is nothing more than optimizing your website, by for example defining keywords and link building, such that your website is more easily traceable in search engines. By applying SEA (Search Engine Advertising) you advertise with specific keywords, so that your website appears at the top of the search results of search engines. ContentXperience will be happy to assist you to improve the ranking of your website.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO is a set of activities that you can apply on your website, so that the search engine can better read the website and estimate its value. Search engine optimization consists of a number of components:
Content – Search engine optimization has no effect if there is no content on your website. If you have a good look at the current content on your website you will almost certainly find some outdated material. Guidelines to keep this content up to date are: subheadings, internal links, eye-catching texts, long and short texts.
Technical optimization – If your website is not technically set up for SEO, it may be that search engines cannot find your website. It is therefore very important to check whether this is the case for your website.
Off-site SEO – Consider, for example, external links that lead to your website. But don’t forget to also include the social media channels.
Search Engine Advertising (SEA)
SEA is nothing less than the purchase of an advertisement that is displayed above the results of a search engine. By bidding on specific keywords that are linked to search requests that are interesting for your company, you can be positioned in the sponsored search results. If you want to start applying SEA, then the following components are important:
Ensure you have insight into the costs – Utilize the budget that you have freed up for SEA to achieve the maximum benefit. Divide the available budget by the number of days of the month so that you can determine your daily budget.
Produce a list of key words – The Google keyword planner gives you insight into which keywords have high or low competition. Furthermore, you must try to make use of as many combinations of keywords as possible.
Exclude or add keywords – Do you notice that you are found via words that are very relevant or even not relevant? Add or exclude them for the advertisement where this is most suitable.
Carry out A/B tests – By examining various advertisement texts alongside each other, you will eventually see which sentences work well and which do not.
